It is curious curious that physical courage should be so common in the world, and moral courage so rare.
Mark Twain

Entrepreneur Traci Lynn has a mission: “My goal is to motivate people to step out of their comfort zones, inspire them to greatness, and to change their lives.” After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in finance, Lynn took a job as an investor information representative at mutual fund giant The Vanguard Group, where she was quickly promoted to supervisor and then manager. But she found herself itching to run her own shop and left Vanguard to try her hand at a variety of enterprises. She eventually found her success in high-quality, stylish, affordable jewelry, launching Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry in Philadelphia in 1989, when she was 25. It became an inspiring local success story, but Lynn folded the company a few years later. “We couldn’t sustain it financially,” she says, “and I let other people’s negativity destroy my confidence.” She relaunched in 2005 after another career as a motivational speaker, and has grown the Delaware-based Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry from its modest beginnings (launched with $200) into a multimillion dollar enterprise that retains 10,000 independent sale consultants throughout the United States. The VIA survey was an eye opener. It really let me step back and take me a look at my character strengths. Many times we have a belief that we are a certain way, but it's wonderful to have confirmation that you actually are that way. Thank you for such an awesome tool! ~ Traci Lynn
